Warlords!

Welcome to Realm War 2.0. Our largest, most game-changing update ever. Almost every part of the game has been affected.

There are balance changes to units and systems across the board.  It’s possible some minor changes will not be captured in these notes.

There is a huge amount to get through, so let’s get started.

There will be compensation provided for those who have spent Sigmarite on Realmstones outside of events

 

GLOBAL STAT CHANGES

  • Due to the transition in scaling systems used, a general reduction of ~2% was applied to upgradeable stats except Durations and Modifiers
  • Duration stats received a global reduction of ~5%
  • Modifier stats received a global increase of ~10%
  • Power Regeneration speed changed from 0.35 per second to 0.32 per second
  • Match Starting Power from 3 to 6
  • Spire Health changed from 10000 to 8000
  • Spire Damage from 100 to 120
  • Spire Attack Speed from 0.53 to 0.8

 

UNIT STAT RAMP REWORK

  • Units now scale using a fixed percentage of their previous level, instead of their base level
  • Durations and Modifiers now both scale with a +5% rate increase per level

 

NEW UNITS

Lord-Castellant

Lord-Castellant’s embody leadership on the battlefield. Their powerful passive generates an extra power every 6 seconds. Their versatile ability does damage to enemies and heals allies. They’re solid fighters, but are more valuable supporting than leading the line.

Lady Olynder

Lady Olynder the Mortach of Grief is a truly horrifying sight on the battlefield.  A dangerous warrior in her own right she can summon two Banshee Handmaidens anywhere on the battlefield which are often crucial in tipping the scales to your favour.

Icefall Yhetees

Icefall Yhetees are savage fighters from the frozen wastelands. They cause freeze on each hit against the enemy, which makes them particularly effective at locking down important enemy troops, so use them tactically to maximize their value.

UNIT BALANCE CHANGES

Bat Swarm

  • Duration from 2.47 to 3
  • Width from 6 to 10
  • Length from 20 to 12
  • Intro and Outro Spell Transition durations reduced

Blood Warriors

  • Health from 690 to 750
  • Passive Charge Damage from 785 to 700
  • Attack Speed from 0.8 to 1.2
  • Damage from 98 to 150

Bloodthirster

  • Health from 2650 to 2900
  • Attack Speed from 1.5 to 1.8
  • Damage from 860 to 1050
  • Ability now applies Fire DPS instead of a normal DPS (set to 140 DPS)
  • Ability Duration from 5.7 to 3

Burning Head

  • Damage from 1470 to 1400
  • Objective Damage from 735 to 700
  • Radius from 5 to 4

Cave Squigs

  • Health from 650 to 580
  • Attack Speed from 1.63 to 1.6
  • Damage from 195 to 180

Chaos Gargant

  • Health from 4600 to 4700
  • Attack Speed from 1.67 to 2.0
  • Damage from 755 to 950
  • Ability Rework (Chaos Gargant no longer deals Damage with his ability, he now heals for a flat amount of Health instead – Health recovery set to 1500)

Doom Divers

  • Radius from 4 to 3
  • Unit Count from 3 to 2
  • Damage from 1030 to 1600
  • Objective Damage from 515 to 800
  • Power Cost from 6 to 5
  • Knockback strength decreased
  • Spell travel speed is now faster

Dryads

  • Health from 1180 to 1200
  • Attack Speed from 2.0 to 1.5
  • Damage from 295 to 220
  • Attack Range extended (still classed as Melee)

Frostheart Phoenix

  • Width from 10 to 8
  • Duration from 5.32 to 4

Gordrakk

  • Ability Attack Modifier from 1.75 to 1.4
  • Ability Speed Modifier from 1.75 to 1.4
  • First Ability Zone Damage (closer to Gordrakk) from 1200 to 600 (the two different Damage zones are now a single flat area which deals 600 Damage)
  • Health from 16000 to 12000
  • Damage from 235 to 180

Gore-Gruntas

  • Boar Attack Speed from 1.0 to 1.2
  • Boar Damage from 137 to 165
  • Boar Health from 1180 to 1000
  • Orruk Attack Speed from 1.0 to 1.2
  • Orruk Damage from 137 to 165
  • Orruk Health from 590 to 500

Grey Seer

  • Ability Unit Count from 25 to 21
  • Health from 16000 to 12000
  • Damage from 235 to 180

Grot Shootas

  • Unit Amount from 3 to 4
  • Attack Speed from 1.03 to 1.1
  • Damage from 83 to 90

Grot Stabbas

  • Unit Amount from 3 to 4

Horticulous Slimux

  • Health from 3330 to 4000
  • Attack Speed from 1.8 to 2.5

Keldrek

  • Attack Speed from 1.33 to 1.6
  • Damage from 660 to 750
  • Health from 2350 to 2100
  • Ability Initial Width from 3 to 4
  • Ability Rework (Keldrek no longer deals a set a value of Damage to enemies and applies also healing based on it, but now deals a set percentage of enemies’ maximum health instead, with no self heal – Ability Percent Damage set to 30%)
  • New Passive Ability (with every basic attack Keldrek now heals for a set value based on the Damage dealt – Lifesteal set to 30%)

Liberators

  • Damage from 294 to 270
  • Attack Speed from 1.2 to 1.4
  • Health from 980 to 1000
  • Stun Duration from 3 to 2

Masque of Slaanesh

  • Power Cost from 2 to 1
  • Duration from 9.5 to 10
  • Attack Modifier from 1.7 to 1.6
  • No longer has DPS

Morghast Harbinger

  • Ability (Dash phase) no longer does Splash Damage (it stills knocks ground units back)
  • Ability (Impact phase) no longer targets units (Morghast only hits Objectives with the dash charge now)
  • Damage from 215 to 300
  • Ability Range from 18 to 20
  • Ability Damage from 610 to 600

Necromancer

  • Power Cost from 5 to 4
  • Health from 1470 to 1380
  • Damage from 340 to 290
  • Passive Spawn Ratio from 2.5 to 2
  • Initial Spawn Delay from 2.5 to 1

Neferata

  • Ability Damage from 6500 to 5000
  • Health from 16000 to 12000
  • Damage from 235 to 180

Orruk Brutes

  • Damage from 130 to 180
  • Attack Speed from 0.88 to 1.0
  • Health from 950 to 1000
  • Cleave Range from 4 to 5

Pink Horrors

  • Power Cost from 3 to 4

Rot Flies

  • Death Poison Damage from 390 to 320
  • Death Passive Radius from 7 to 6

Scyla Anfingrimm

  • Health from 4400 to 4200
  • Movement Speed from 2 to 2.5
  • Ability Rework (Scyla no longer jumps on an area with radius based Damage and self Damage, but now modifies their own basic attack Damage for a duration instead – Attack Modifier set to 1.3, Duration set to 6)

Skeleton Champion

  • Health from 1570 to 1800
  • Attack Speed from 0.97 to 1

Skeleton Standard Bearer

  • Health from 1080 to 1350
  • Slowdown Modifier from 60% to 65%
  • Attack Speed from 0.97 to 1

Slann Starmaster

  • Health from 2550 to 2900
  • Attack Speed from 0.15 to 0.2
  • Damage from 35 to 47

Snazzgar Stinkmullet

  • Ability Duration from 6.2 to 5
  • Ability Range from 30 to 25
  • Ability Radius from 6 to 5
  • Attack Speed from 1.63 to 1.6

Tempestor

  • Health from 1670 to 1900
  • Damage from 235 to 250
  • Ability Final Width from 10 to 6

Tomb Banshee

  • Damage from 215 to 350
  • Attack Speed from 0.8 to 1.0
  • Ability no longer does Damage
  • Ability Radius from 2.5 to 2
  • Ability Duration from 4.3 to 4

Treelord

  • Health from 3140 to 3600

Undead Army

  • Attack Speed from 1.6 to 1.0
  • Damage from 120 to 75
  • Spawn delay in between Skeletons decreased

Vulkite Berzerkers

  • Damage from 98 to 80
  • Fire DPS from 122.5 to 100
  • Health from 880 to 800

Warplock Jezzails

  • Attack Speed from 2.47 to 2.5

Warp-Grinder

  • Health from 980 to 1050
  • Added ramping Damage (minimum Damage set to 13, maximum Damage set to 52, ramp charge set to 5 seconds)

Emerald Lifeswarm

  • Heal Amount Per Tick from 51.25 to 400

Skywarden

  • Added ramping Damage (minimum Damage set to 10, maximum Damage set to 40, ramp charge duration set to 5)
  • Ability Radius from 6 to 4
  • Health from 860 to 900
  • No longer deals Damage when dying

Lord-Celestant

  • Health from 16000 to 12000
  • Damage from 235 to 180

Lord-Relictor

  • Ability Damage from 980 to 400
  • Ability now stuns Ground enemies (Duration set to 2)
  • Attack Range is now slightly extended (still classed as Melee)
  • Ability Radius from 5 to 4

Mannfred, Mortarch of Night

  • Power Cost from 7 to 6
  • Attack Speed from 1.47 to 1.5
  • Ability Range from 20 to 6
  • Health from 3750 to 3300
  • Ability Damage from 3040 to 3000
  • Ability now has no fall off Damage as it travels further from Mannfred’s body
  • Ability now has no Unit Slowdown

Quicksilver Swords

  • Damage (per hit) from 60 to 50
  • Objective Damage (per hit) from 30 to 25
  • Radius from 7 to 5 (units now have to be only “touching” the target radius instead of being completely inside of it to be affected)
  • Delay in between sword drops decreased

Weirdnob Shaman

  • Ability Range from 28 to 25
  • Ability Radius from 6 to 5
  • Ability Damage from 640 to 500

Spirit Hosts

  • Slowdown Multiplier from 0.8 to 0.7
  • Radius from 5 to 4
  • Damage per Second from 170 to 150
  • Objective DPS from 85 to 75
  • Duration from 7.2 to 6.7

Neave Blacktalon

  • Damage from 590 to 550

Hypersnare Seeds

  • Unit Count from 6 to 4
  • Duration from 4.8 to 3.5

 

Additional Notes

  • Neferata’s ability damage and Blood Warriors charge damage now correctly increase in matches when levelling the card (frontend information was correct but the units were not applying level bonuses in matches when dealing the damage)
  • Some deployment boxes for unit radius visuals have been updated to better convey their area of effect on the field
